As far as reality series go, I am hooked on Undercover Boss! I actually record it on my cabletelevision.net so that I do not miss one episode! The series takes an everyday corporation such as 7/11 or 1-800-Flowers and asks the head honcho to step down and go undercover. The boss starts out as an entry level worker and gets to see all of the nitty gritty things going on in his or her company. The boss can quickly see things he needs to change, people who should promote, and even people he should demote. He usually visits two or three parts of the company and then calls a meeting with other corporates in his company. After deciding how he will change things he approaches the individuals that he got to know. I love the reactions! My favorite parts are when people are rewarded for their hard work and diligence. I have seen several episodes where someone is promoted, sent on vacation, or even given their own franchise! On more than one occasion I have found a lump in my throat at the compassion and care corporate companies actually have.
